Business Development Executive

Flexible: Office, Southbourne, Dorset, BH5 2JU or home based.


Personal Qualities

Candidates will be a highly motivated self-starter looking for a new challenge to build a sales channel that you will own. You will have a proven track record of B2B channel business development of a minimum of 3 years in ICT sales. Ideally this will have been in product distribution but candidates with a background in a reseller/systems integrator environment will be considered.

Approved Technology is a small fast growing business. Applicants must be able to work within a team environment with the ability to recognise and capitalise on the opportunities for growth. Our UK reseller client base is relatively small presenting the right salesperson a rare opportunity to build a lucrative client base.


Salary

OTE Uncapped, up to 40% commission. Base to be negotiated depending on experience.


Responsibilities

  • Develop sales of our full product range into the IT reseller channel. This will involve the identification of and prospecting of potential new customers and develop them into active clients. This involves cold calling.

  • Prepare written quotations including specifications

  • Maintain the CRM system, ensuring customer details are accurate and up to date

  • Ensure monthly sales revenue and margin targets are met

  • Manage the sales process from quotation to dispatch

  • Liaise with Purchasing, Goods In and Out to ensure customer needs and expectations are met

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years B2B ICT distribution sales experience

  • Knowledge of Network hardware products

  • Awareness of key brands e.g. HP, Cisco, Dell, Huawei, Lenovo etc

  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite


Training
Sales and product training will be provided according to your experience and existing knowledge.
