Approved Technology is a leading distributor of affordable network accessories. Since 2008, we have
been supplying UK and international brokers and resellers with optical network transceivers, fibre
optic cabling, rack mounts and memory for networks and servers. Our range of affordable network
accessories offers considerable savings when compared to manufacturer pricing. We have recently
launched our own brand of optical transceivers; ATGBICS® specifically targeted at resellers.

OTE Uncapped, up to 50% commission. Base to be negotiated depending on experience.

Job Specification

  • Develop sales of our full product range into the IT reseller channel. This will involve the identification of and prospecting of potential new customers and develop them into active clients. This involves cold calling.

  • Expand product sales mix into under-performing existing customers

  • Prepare written quotations including specifications

  • Maintain the CRM system, ensuring customer details are accurate and up to date

  • Ensure monthly sales revenue and margin targets are met

  • Manage the sales process from quotation to dispatch

  • Liaise with Purchasing, Goods In and Out to ensure customer needs and expectations are met

Our UK reseller client base is relatively small presenting the right salesperson a rare opportunity to
build a lucrative client base.

Personal Qualities
A highly motivated self-starter looking for a new challenge to build a sales channel that you will own.
Someone with a positive attitude. Self-motivated but a willingness to learn and work as a team.

team environment but recognise and capitalise on the opportunities for growth.

Essential Skills/Abilities

  • Self-starter, highly motivated

  • Proven track record in business development

  • Cold calling

  • Attention to detail

  • Excellent telephone manner


  • Minimum of 3 years IT Industry sales experience

  • Knowledge of hardware products

  • Awareness of key brands e.g. HP, Cisco, Dell, Huawei, Lenovo etc

  • Proficient in the use of MS Word, Excel, Outlook

Sales and product training will be provided according to your experience and existing knowledge.
